Distress stickles...

...are now here in the shop!!.....

Once we heard that these were being shipped the main question asked was:- “so, whats the difference between distress stickles and normal stickles?”

Stickles – bright in colour with a real glitz sheen, glue has glitter and therefore the nozzle allows for thin lines and precision hi-lighting...

Distress Stickles – the one used here was Fired Brick, are much deeper in colour, has a subtle sheen when dry rather than a glitzy sheen, has larger crystals therefore the nozzle is wider and doesn’t allow for definition, but, does allow for coverage of large areas as a little goes along way... When dry the distress stickles are quite abrasive to the touch and give a great finish...

In summary – we need them all!!

Here’s a tag made with some of the fantastic new Tim Holtz/Ranger products now available in the shop...

The background is created using the clock masque, with fired brick and spiced marmalade distress inks these were then spritized with water, then a layer of vintage photo distress inks added – these were all applied using the TH inking tool....The masque was then removed and a light shading of antique linen applied, hi-lights added to letter stickers, and a transparency clock face, pieces of grungeboard were covered in distress stickles and then added to the piece. Tim Holtz ideology pieces finished it off ...
