Pretty as a picture - day five

Hi and welcome to the last day of my week here on the Papermaze blog...i have gone back to picture frames today...one i used last year and has been sitting in the shop for a while now...i went to Papermaze the other day to get it and update it...

This is how i thought the frame would be...

Apart from the title part of it which i switched to Making Memories Paper shred findings it came out the same...

There are lots of circles on this one...each with a different type of punched embellishment on it...basically i did this...
and then layered them...to make this!!!

Here is a close up of it all together...
and some individual lines...
The top row...
and then the rows after...

this one is currently sitting in my bedroom on the fireplace...and there it will stay...

Now if you didnt want one so big you could try an individual one...i went to the shops and bought a single wooden frame for £1.79...

Here is the sketch of what i thought it would look like...

First off i made a tag and inked round the edges of it...

I then wrapped a small doily around it and inked the edges...

i then made the parts to adhere on to it...
Butterflies
and a layered flower.
I put the butterflies on the top and the bottom of the tag...before adhereing the text layered flowers i wrapped the centre of the tag with string. Before doing the bow i added the flower and the did the bow around and over the top of it...and then added a brad...

And volia a smaller version of the frame...

Supplies used on these projects:
My minds eye - quite contrary mary mary line
Basic Grey - Urban Prairie and Basic grey Basics - sphere
Gems
Prima flowers
Butterly punch

Thanks for popping in everyday this week...i cannot tell you how much i have enjoyed making these projects and i hope you have enjoyed seeing them everyday...if you are going to lift them, email them to me at wendy@bbbweb.com and i will add them to the blog.

  1. Wendy, I have loved everything you've made this week. You are so talented. It's got me wanting (needing) lots more punches. The larger butterfly you've used, is that this one:
    Royal (Glassene) Butterfly

I just wanted to check before I pop into papermaze and buy.
    Thanks xx
