(PLEASE NOTE THE JOURNALING ON THIS PAGE DOES INCLUDE FATHER CHRISTMAS INFORMATION...NOT FOR THE EYES OF SMALL CHILDREN)

I am not really a 'theme' scrapper...But this year I have done more than my normal amount of Christmas pages and cards.

One of the lines that I was looking forward to arriving at the shop was the new October Afternoon Christmas line...it is really hard to tell if you are going to like something just by looking at it on a computer screen so I normally wait for it to arrive or I go by the samples or pages that I find on the internet.

This was one that I was sitting on the fence on...I was just not wowed by it when I saw it on the internet so I was interested to see it in real life......I SHOULD NEVER HAVE WORRIED!!!

This line is adorable...I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it in real life. So I grabbed as much of it as Vanessa would let me take ha!...bought it home and just had fun.

Here is what I made using  it....It is about my sons realisation earlier on this year about Father Christmas....I knew this was a real mile stone for him and the day that Christmas changed for ever....though he took the knowledge very well.

I used the matching letter stickers on this page and the new wood grain Mini Market stickers that match the other new line called Farm Girl....I also picked up some of these...

though there are many more them in the other colours that would match perfectly! This was the first time I had used these types of thickers and now I am going back for more!!!!

I have made a page using the Farm Girl line so pop back in a few days to see that.

  2. First of all, thanks for the Blog hop prize - I can't wait to use the December kit I won.
This is a lovely page and such a shame they have to grow up. It's a good idea to scrap the moment.

    thanks again
