August kit - part 3

Hi Carol with you today sharing the last of my August kit…I still have a few bits and bobs left over but not enough for a full project…so, today I'm sharing with you a card and matching gift tag…

I've used a 5x7 card blank, card blanks are now on sale in the shop - take a look here.  I cut my patterned papers and edged with distress ink - twisted citron -   I have added stickers from the kit and finished off with a stamped greeting from the JOFY 26 plate - this plate also has a flower stamp - so I stamped it onto two scraps of paper and cut out - I decided to leave the darker image as my base and the lighter one on the top - so, I carefully cut the petals slightly smaller so that it would sit inside…I then added a piece of bling…

I wanted the tag to match as much as possible - I cut the tag using the sizzix large tag die, I coloured the base using twisted citron distress ink and then stencilled using ground espresso distress ink.  I then added papers similar to my card - in the kit you get the two wooden birds and the green flowers which were added to the tag… a stamped greeting finished it off.
