Distress Oxides

Hi, Carol with you today - for my last post I was playing with the new Distress Oxide ink pads and made loads of trial tags - today I'm showing you what I did with some of those tags…

Here is the finished product:-

So, taking one of the inked tags, I placed a stencil over my tag and rubbed over with a baby wipe to lighten some of the colour, using the same stencil and a distress oxide ink I then inked onto the tag hi-lightening with a white pen…. I then doodled around the edges.

Using the Tim Holtz bigz die I cut the mannequin body from another tag, I used some of the left overs to cut three of the third size flowers from the tattered florals die,(although, there are some fabulous new dies which would look just as good with little construction! here they are) cutting and sticking to form a 3d flower shape, using more left overs and a leaf punch I then cut leaves and doodled…. some ribbon, string, bling and a couple of pins finished off the tag.

All products available from the Papermaze shop do pop along, sit with a cuppa and take a look at all the fabulous products for sale…

TFL xx
