It's Anita here and I have got a couple of quick and easy layouts for you today in a beautiful apricot and duck egg blue colour combo from using the Ooh La La Collection by Kaisercraft.
They bring out so many beautiful collections on a vast selection of themes and there is a good choice to pick from in there shop HERE.
So, for the first layout I backed the layout with a sheet of brown cardstock and then took a sheet of Belle , I trimmed about 5mm off of 2 sides to allow a border of brown to show and create a frame.
I then followed the line of the slats of the wood panels and popped in some random little slices which I *roughed* back to create a distressed effect that shabbied the wood.
I absolutely love using Ranger's Distress stains on my pages and chose one called Ripe Persimmon for on this page. I really enjoy *dabbing* them on the layouts and knowing the harder I dab, the further they splat!!
I also had a sheet each of Tres Chic , Lamour and C'est La Vie and I cut various bits and pieces from each of them for scattering about the layout ( some of which raised up on foam pads to add dimension, but without adding lots of bulk)
I finished the page by adding some sequins, crystals, a pearl buckle and some mesh ribbon.
With my 2nd layout I used a sheet of Bonjour for the base and popped a large doily in the centre.
Have you seen the fabulous stamps made by 49 and Market ? They have some seriously gorgeous designs and I own the Gabi's line Stitch set.
So I picked the stitch line I liked best and stamped it around the edges of the layout.
I cut more elements out from the left overs of the other sheets from before and built up a nice little selection to use.
Using some of the left overs I made an oversized tag and decorated it plus added a teeny photo.
This really is a beautiful and versatile collection of papers and is lovely to work with. Why not pop over to the shop and have a look at all the loveliness on offer.
Warmest Wishes
Anita xx
