Claire here, and today I'm excited to share a layout with you made with the Heidi Swapp Art Walk collection - available from the shop here.
This collection has such a wide range of styles and designs including both arty / mixed media designs as well as beuatiful tropical papers that really give you a lot of choice and versatility for your pages.
Today's layout is 'Summer Vibes'.
I started with some Bazzill cardstock in Tutu Pink as my base and bravely tore a sheet of the Locals Only paper in half and used this goregous leaf print which is the B side of the paper. I tore it away from me to make sure I got the white ripped edges which I love for adding a bit of extra texture.
Before sticking it down, I got some gold texture paste and put this through the Echo Park Sunkissed Spot Stencil.
I fussy cut some big tropical leaves from the Tropics paper and flowers from the Full Bloom paper and positioned them around my photos, curling the edges to add depth. I also added a further paper flower that I'd inked with distress oxides and a chipboard frame from my stash.
I took some of the cardstock stickers to make the cluster at the top of the page, and created some paper layers with the B sides of the Tropics and Full Bloom papers. I also added a label and sticker at the bottom - It was originally going to be used to record the place and date but after changing my photos I had to make a sneaky amend and so used another sticker to add Good Times to the label.
To finish the layout, I added a hand cut tag shape to tuck under my photo from the Tropics paper and used those lovely big Pebbles Hey Foam Thickers with some smaller gold alphas from my stash to create the title. Finally, I added a few sequins, gold ink splats and some Nuvo Dream Drops in Love Potion.
I love how tropical and summery the page turned out - especially with those gorgeous big leaves and gold shimmers from the stencil. I have a feeling you'll be seeing more of these stencils again in future layouts - love the extra dimension they bring and there's so may to choose from in the shop.
