Mondays Card...

All this week on the Papermaze blog we are having a card sketch week. Everyday there is going to be a new sketch and a new example.

What do you have to do??? well all the people that post a comment on anyone of the posts this week will be put into a hat and i will draw one name out. The person whose name comes out will get written step by step instructions and the supplies to make each card that is shown here this week.

On Saturday there will be posted a competition with a cool prize. We hope you enjoy the sketches and the cards.

okay this is the first sketch!!!

This is the the card i made using it...

First i cut out some brown card to the size 25 cm by 12.5cm. And then folded it in half.

I then cut a circle shape out of one side. Dont forget to leave some of it attached!!. I then punched out some green circles of pattern paper. i inked all the edges and then cut them in half and stuck them around the circle at the back. see photo....

This is what the inside of the card looks like...

I then cut out a circle and made cut it to fit the circle on the card. I did faux stitching around the edge and inked them with brown ink.

I attached to ribbons to the front

I then cut out another piece of pattern paper into a smaller circle. Inked the edges and adhered it to the card.
I then added a flower, i then added some thread to a clear button. Punched out a circle of pattern paper and stuck it to the back of the button so the pattern shows through. I then stuck a pin through the thread. These pins can be found in any shop. I found my ones at the end of the aisle of Tesco!!! lol.

I then adhered it to the circle.

I cut out a small square of light blue card to the size 10cm by 10 cm. inked the edges and stuck to the card. dont forget to round the corners. i also added a frame of white pen round the edges.

I cut out another circle to adhere to the back of the circle to cover up the edges of the circles.

I took a few gems and added them to the ribbon, see the photo for placement.

I then used little stickers for the text on the card. And volia a finished card!!!

Products used in this card:

Bo Bunny Pattern paper - honeysuckle
Bo Bunny Pattern paper - Laurel
Heidi Swapp flower - white
Making memories letters
Ribbon
Brown and white cardstock
Buttons

Dont forget to check back tomorrow for another sketch and a card!! dont forget to leave a comment to get into the draw!!!
