Choose Happy..... Kate & Ash Simple Stories pt 2

Hello there

It's Anita here again today with the 2nd layout I have made using the fab and funky range, Kate and Ash, from Simple Stories.

These papers really are such fun. Lovely colours and patterns and lots of lovely elements to cut out and use...and lots of stickers and co-ordinating embellishments available too!

I started off with a sheet of U R Beautiful for the base sheet and used the flowery side. On top of that I placed a sheet of Awkward, mint and spotty white side showing and I cut this down to 11.5 x 11.5" so this left a frame of the flowery sheet behind showing.

White and black acrylic paint came out next and I used it to splatter randomly about the page ( I really like the little shots of black and how it stands out from all of the colours.
Using a pencil I gently drew round a pudding bowl with a fine pencil and used this as a guide to follow for doing some hand stitching.

The photo was matted onto some black cardstock and then I set about picking images to fussy cut from the sheets of  2 x 2 elements .... 3 x 4 Elements and 4 x 4 Elements. I also sorted out some various coloured buttons from my stash and tied some thread through them.

I scattered the buttons, fussy cut bits and co-ordinating stickers randomly around the stitched circle and then finished the page off using some old Thickers from my stash to create the title.
I am really enjoying this collection with its mix of bright mixed with pastel colours ... and its been a bit of a different style for me scrapping wise too.

I shall be back again with another project at some point with the same collection and I look forward to seeing you then.

All of these products and a great many more are available over at the SHOP, with New Products arriving all the time..... why not treat yourself xx

Til Next Time

Happy Crafting!
Warmest Wishes
