UKS blog hop

Welcome to the 2nd UK Scrappers blog hop!  The original post on UKS is here, and hopefully you've arrived here from Make The Day Special.  I hope you're finding lots of interesting projects - I decided to make a canvas for you...

For this simple canvas piece, I sprayed one pump of glimmermist onto the canvas, and tilted the board to let the ink run a little before using a heat gun to dry the colour. I made sure each colour was dry before I moved onto the next.

When I was happy with my coloured rainbow, I positioned my black and white photos in place so that I could plan where my title would go.

To create the title, I took some sheets of chipboard letters and pushed out the letters that I would need in my title.
I then used the negatives as a stencil and smoothed Martha Stewart Texture Paste over the letter.

For the butterflies, I used a Martha Stewart Punch All Over The page Butterfly Punch to make another stencil, and used this with the texture paste in the same way.

I added some white flowers and a leaf to finish...

Thanks for dropping by!  The next blog you need to visit is Quixotic Paperie.  We're giving away a £10 gift voucher to one lucky person who comments on our blog - and don't forget to comment on the UKS thread when you've visited everyone!  Enjoy the rest of the hop :)
