Hello again,
It's Anita here today and I have my 1st post of the month to share with you.
I have been scrapping with some of the Kaisercraft Pen and Ink Collection. This collection is really lovely and it has a vintage style with a mix of floral, butterflies and ephemera in soft sepia tones. I think it would be versatile enough to scrap various themes, including masculine, feminine, heritage and animals etc.
I chose a photo of our youngest daughter, taken several years ago now on a visit to Michelham Priory. She sat for ages in the window, fascinated by something outside in the garden and I love how the gentle sunlight lit her face so softly.
I used 4 sheets of the paper from the collection ...Ephemera, Chandalier, Linework and Journaled.
I also used some Tim Holtz dies ( Tattered Floral) and some of the Journaled sheet to create the large flower and also the Elegant Flourish die and some of the Zinc Bazzill.
The other flowers were made using more of the Journaled sheet and the roly rose technique
I drew round a tea plate onto a sheet of Zinc Bazzill, cut it out then scrunched it up into a ball. I rolled it about to and fro in my hands to soften it and distress it some more, then straightened it back out and flattened it as much as possible. Using some Brilliance ink pads in Copper, Gold and Silver gently swiped over the circle and the ink picked up on the creases and highlighted them. I also inked the edges of the other elements I had cut out.
I also used the copper ink on a script stamp, which I used on the lower right hand side of the page. Various items were cut from the ephemera sheet, were inked and then scattered and layered in various sections
There are various Kaisercraft Collections available in the shop, all beautiful and fabulous quality. Why not pop over and have a look around....and whilst there, check out all the lovely New Products that are available too!
Happy Scrapping!

Carta Bella Spring Market - # Cute Gardener layout
Hello. Karen here. I hope you're enjoying the fabulous sunny Bank Holiday weather we're having.
I have a scrapbook layout today using the Carta Bella Spring Market collection. This collection has such a pretty, fresh, spring vibe and is full of gorgeous florals, wood grain panels and gardening themes. It's perfect for any garden themed layouts but also for general spring layouts and cards. It has lots of pink in it but also green and brown tones.
I choose to use two photos of my daughter taken many years ago when she was 'helping' with the gardening.
I started with a 12x12 white Bazzill cardstock base which I trimmed slightly and matted on the pink patterned paper. A horizontal strip of the 'Market Planters' paper and thin strips of the wood grain paper were glued near the bottom of the layout. I machine stitched with black thread around the edge of the layout.
My 4x6 photos were matted on the woodgrain paper and stuck to the layout using 3D foam to add some dimension.
I fussy cut lots of flowers and leaves from the 'Market Floral' paper and used these to create clusters on three corners of the photos.
I added some Studio Calico wood veneer butterflies, a tiny fussy cut trowel, brads from Simple Stories Domestic Bliss collection, stickers and die cuts.
In the top right corner I created a banner using paper flags from the die cut pack, wood veneer hearts and another fussy cut flower. I machine stitched across the top of the banner.
My layout was completed with a title die cut from the woodgrain paper and I added computer printed journalling strips at the bottom.
I really enjoyed creating this layout and there are a lot more papers, etc in the collection to inspire you which you can find in the shop.
Enjoy the rest of your Bank Holiday weekend and I'll be back soon with another project.

Simple Stories ~ Hello Summer
Hi everyone it's Anna here. Welcome back to the Papermaze blog where today I have a layout to show you using one of the latest collections from Simple Stories ~ Hello Summer. I love this collection it's bright, colourful and perfect for summer photographs!
Take a look at the latest Simple Stories collections here, and a closer look at the Hello Summer collection here.
So here is what I am working with this month...
And here is my first layout..
I was inspired by the Who's ready for summer? patterned paper to fussy cut two of the words to create a title, above and below my photograph.
I also fussy cut two flower clusters from the Paradise Found patterned paper, which I placed either side of my photograph along with a doily, a Freckled Fawn arrow paper clip, Pink Fresh Studio Word Stickers and some Doodlebug Sprinkles.
I then cut strips of paper from the Life Is Good paper and the Just Chillin' paper and layered them up together under and above the large words.
After I took the photos above, I added in some stiches using some coordinating orange thread to match my son's t-shirt, which pulled in the colours from the photograph.
Thanks for looking! I'll be back later in the month with another project using the Hello Summer collection.
Have a lovely bank holiday weekend, hopefully with lots of sunshine!
Anna

Project Life - Documenting the Everyday
Hello, it's Lisa here today chatting all about documenting the 'every day stuff'.
I also have a video here so you can watch the process and see how it comes together.
I'm using the Pinkfresh papers here for this project.
I love how easy these papers are to use.
I use a Simple Stories Album. There are plenty to choose from here.
And then I simply fill the pockets.
It's a really fun way to document.
I've used the 12x12 papers cut down to fill the pockets and fussy cut the papers to embellish.
I've also journaled on the papers.
A little tip... if you would like to document something that you've received by email or text, take a photo and print.
That's what I did here (see the middle photo) When I received an email from my Son's Maths teacher last month.
I really recommend giving this way of documenting a go if you don't already.
Thank you so much for joining me today. And I hope you enjoy the video too.
Thanks so much.

Amazing with Echo Park Imagine That Boy
Hello, Tracee with you today to share a layout I created using the adorable Imagine That (boy) collection by Echo Park. I used this collection in an earlier post and you can find that here.
I have used lots of stickers from the Combo Sticker Sheet along with a little fussy cutting. I created my own background with stitched stars and splashes of silver mist.
I created the background by first sketching some stars lightly in pencil where I wanted them to be around the top half of the page, and then stitching over them with my sewing machine (the pencil marks are easily erased after) I thought the splatters of silver mist gave the stars some life like they were almost twinkling. I cut some very very tiny triangles to have cascading down my page to the journaling and leading out towards the bottom of the page.
I used the combo sticker sheet quite a lot for this page I think they make such cute clusters relatively easily. My page is 8 x 8 inches in size so this makes some of them large on my page but they still fit right in like the super hero sticker here.
I cut up some more of the Etch A Sketch frames from the Sketch It Out sheet, this time I cut out the middle bit and used it as an actual frame type embellishment. I used limited amounts of paper from the collection as there were so many of the stickers I wanted to have on my layout. The frame is from a Simple Stories. Check out this Imagine That collection for yourself as there are so many lovely elements in it, plus they also have a Girl version.
Hope you all have a very happy scrappy day and for this page and all your crafting needs please pop over to the SHOP

The Perfect Day with Photoplay
Today we're sharing a layout from Lesley, who works in the shop with us! She had a much-admired layout at a recent crop, so she has re-created it for us!
The papers are from Photoplay's We Do collection, and although they are perfect for documenting weddings, as seen here, the patterns lend themselves to many other photos too.
Lesley has used the reverse of Outdoor Wedding to create the circle, then layered strips of Throw The Bouquet, Cummerbund, Invitation and Wedding Day before adding her photos. The clusters of flowers are a mix, mainly from her own stash, but the black ones are Prima Scribbles, and matched the papers perfectly!
The chipboard piece on the left of the page is by Blue Fern Studios and has been embossed with white embossing powder, then a touch of Frantage has been added to the small heart so that it stands out.
Thanks for stopping by, and don't forget to pop over to the Papermaze site to see what's new!
