Ghostly presence

So just how many different things can you do with a ghost accent? Always up for a challenge, we've put our creative hats on and come up with lots of ways to embellish and attach these little darlings to layouts or cards.

Debbie has embellished this beautiful layout with three Heidi Swapp ghost flowers, each of which demonstrates a different technique. Rub ons have added a really well-defined image to the first. The second is given a touch of bling with some gems. Deb has hand doodled onto the third flower and then attached it to the layout with a crystal brad.

Wendy has added snowflakes to this fun layout and she's edged them with a white pen to help them to stand out.

I created the title of this layout using Heidi Swapp Bordeaux ghost alphabet letters stamped with a Hero Arts script stamp using Staz-on ink. I brushed the edges of the letters with Making Memories Asphalt acrylic paint to help them stand out from the background. The letters were attached to the layout by brushing the very edges with Ranger Glossy Accents.

To create a sparkly, Christmassy effect, I brushed the letters on this card with glitter glaze before attaching them to a piece of The Paper Company Christmas Fun Red Words paper which has been mounted onto a card blank.

This Heidi Swapp ghost heart has been dry brushed with a little acrylic paint before being attached to the layout with tacky tape. The tape is hidden by the Fancy Pants Biggest Board chipboard accent. The clock has simply been attached with a Making Memories crystal brad.

I've doodled on these letters with a white sharpie pen. I've then stitched them to a piece of Chatterbox Love Shack Scarlet Sweethearts paper which has been mounted onto a card blank.

Here are some other ideas:
attach with staples
tie with ribbon
back with patterned paper
decorate with alcohol inks
edge with a Krylon Leafing pen
and you can check out our range of ghost embellishments here!
