Waterercolours in my Traveler's Notebook

Hello Lisa, here. I have my traveler's notebook, my water colours and the Sunny Days collection from Crate Paper.

I just love this new paper collection. It's so happy and Summery.
I'm actually saving it for a mini book later in the month, but I really wanted to use it on a page in my traveler's notebook to document out first day arriving in Orlando on last years US roadtrip.

I love the map paper in this collection and added some water colours to brighten it up.
I really liked the matching stickers. The 'Sun Kissed' was great but too long, so I cut between the 2 words and stuck on top of each other to make them fit. I also cut the butterfly in 2. I popped one half popping out from the photo and the other sat on the letter 'K'.

This paper here as my favourite. I cut out the letters from SUMMER. Stuck them in and painted these too. I love how they stand out now. I also added a few stickers around this page.

I'm so happy with this double page and it was so much fun adding the water colours to the page. You could try using water colour pencils, pens, chalks or other mediums.

Thank you so much for joining me here today. I look forward to sharing my mini book with you later in the month.
Happy National Scrapbooking Day this weekend. love Lisa x
