October Papermaze Kit - Part 2

Lynn here today, sharing two more layouts created using the October Papermaze Kit. Two recent events, but very different themes and styles this time. 

Before looking at how the layouts are made, here is what you will find in the kit.

Embellishments:
Simple Stories - Meadow Flowers foam stickers, Little Birdie flower, American Crafts butterfly clip, Krafty Kids - wooden buttons, Leane Creatief - brads, 49 and Market - willow frames, Pinkfresh Studio - glitter drops leaf and Echo Park - washi tape. 

Bazzill Basics Cardstock:
Lagoon, Peach Creme (included in kit), and Marmalade Blast, Sunbeam, Walnut and Patch (in extra pack).

Remy - This is My Story - My daughter dressed for a recent Larp event. 

The first task for this layout was to build the background, I used a scrap sheet of 12" x 12" paper, which I covered with papers from the kit. The top of the page is a piece of Memory Place - Pet Life collection - Pure Love 03 cut to 8" x 12". Under this I placed a 4" x 12" piece of Today 05 paper from the same collection. I cut a strip of trellis 0.5" x 12" from the same paper, I placed this where the papers meet, to complete the frame around the piece. 

With a 12" length of lace, I trimmed the join between papers.

I fussy cut flowers from the other side of the Pure Love 03 paper, these were mounted to the right of the join. 

My journalling was printed onto scraps of the Today 05 paper. The photos and journalling were mounted onto some scraps of Bazzill from my stash to match the pink in the outfit. There were arranged across the top part of the layout.

Before the sticking things down, I made six small tags from scraps of papers already used. I also cut some strips of the white wood panel from the Today 05 paper. All these elements with the photos and journalling were arranged and stuck in place. I threaded some twine through the tag holes, and looped this in place with a few dabs of glue. 

I added the Little Birdie flower, to the fussy cut arrangement. The Krafty Kids - wooden buttons were added to the page, together with two foam stickers from the Simple Stories - The Little Things collection.

I retrieved the frame I cut by gutting the 49 and Market - Nature's Haven collection - Sunshine paper from an earlier layout. I backfilled this with strips of torn cardstock. I selected Powder Blue Bazzill for the sky and Patch Bazzill for the grass. 

I used some scrap white card to cut tiny clouds and punch little daisies, to scatter over the sky and grass. The centre of each daisy is a blob of Nuvo Crystal Drops - Dandelion Yellow. 

I printed five small photos, three of these were frames with the 49 and Market - willow frames included in the kit. Two photos were mounted onto Echo Park - Winnie The Pooh Baby collection - Oh Baby Daises paper. 

The photos were mounted side by side across the layout. I used small pieces of the washi tape and the AC butterfly clip to embellish the photos. 

My title was cut with Spellbinders - Simple Stories - Say Cheese - Classic Mouse Alphabet. and more of the Oh Baby Daisies paper, with Patch Bazzill used for the shadows. 

The characters and phrase embellishments are from a sheet of Simple Stories - Say Cheese Classic Pooh Cardstock Stickers. 

The date was placed at the base of the layout using Doodlebug Designs Alphabet Soup Stickers in Bumblebee.
