Lynn here, back with the second post using the beautiful, autumn themed kit from Papermaze for October. Here are the second pair of layouts made using autumn themed photos.

Here are the details of what you will find in the kit:

49 and Market - Academia collection - Great Job
Jen Hadfield - Groovy Darlin' collection - Mellow
Simple Stories - Cider & Donuts collection - Tag Elements
Graphic 45- Autumn Greetings collection - Fall Foliage

The photo below shows both sides of the papers:

Embellishments:
3" x 12" Jen Hadfield Groovy Darlin' acetate, 2 Echo Park Sweater Weather chipboard phrases, 1 Prima nature academia flower, 1 strip Doodlebug gold sprinkles, 4 Bare Basics labels, 2 lines of Rosie's Studio Wildwood chipboard and selection of 49 and Market perforated tickets (peach).

Bazzill Basics - CS White and Beeswax (included in kit). Rain Forest, Quartz, Mocha Divine and Tangelo (Extra Bazzill Match pack).

Autumn Days - This layout shows my daughter and her friend during a visit to Castle Farm in Kent during October last year.

I started this layout with a sheet of scrap 12" x 12" paper on which to build my layout.

With
Great Job paper I tore down the paper at 8" wide, for the left of the page and another piece 1 1/2" wide for the right side. I punched 7 holes about 1/2" in from the torn edges, and about 2" apart. I inked all the edges with Distress Ink. Brown eyelets from my stash were placed in the holes.

I covered the scrap paper by placing a 3 1/2" strip of the plaid side of Fall Foliage paper under the prepared pieces. Then I joined the eyelets together with some jute twine.

I used Distress Paints to colour two dusty Attic Chipboard pieces from my stash - Picket Fence (small) and a small section of Chicken Wire (12" x 12"). Then I arranged my photos and the chipboard pieces onto the page. Before sticking anything down, I gathered together and arranged all the other embellishments.

I fussy cut floral clusters from the Fall Floral Bunches paper. Then I cut two tags from Tag Elements paper, tucking one under each photo, with more jute twine tied through the eyelets set into the holes. I made a circle with more twine and added one of the labels from the kit in the centre. At this point I stuck the elements, photos and papers in place.

I used one of the
chipboard phrase from the kit as my title. I added the date to the circle label, then with another label I added the place name. Tickets, stamps and other phrases from the kit were added to finish off.

Halloween Adventures at Chessington - When the children were about 13 year old, we went to Chessington during the Autumn half term.

My base for this layout is the Beeswax Bazzill. Over this I placed a 10" x 10" piece of Multi Journalling Cards, with the B side up. Then I placed the 3" x 12" Jen Hadfield Groovy Darlin' acetate sheet down the left side of the page.

I trimmed my photos to measure 3" x 3" and arranged them in a square slightly to the bottom right of the centre of the page.

With a Tim Holtz Sizzix Thinlits die set - Skeleton Leaves, I cut a selection of leaves from various shades of Bazzill  and some glitter card. I arranged these leaves diagonally across the page, tucking them under the photos.

The title is made up of old Paige Evans Thickers and some bronze metallic alpha stickers from my stash. I cut the word 'Adventures' on the cricut twice in two colours and overlapped them on the page, I highlighted the words with a black pen and a white marker.

I used another label from the kit to add the date.

A selection of pearls in bronze, cream and gold were scattered over the leaves.

Finally, I covered the photos to protect them and flicked some Picket Fence Distress Paint over the page.

That is the last of the layouts using the October kit. I'll be back with the November kit later this month.

Thanks for looking
Lynn x
