Bee Happy | Carta Bella Honey Bee collection | Rebecca Bee

Hello Papermazers! Rebecca Bee here to share a third layout using Carta Bella Honey Bee collection...I just could not resist using these gorgeous supplies for one more layout, I really love this collection!

For this page, I created a square from the B side of the 3X4 journaling cards paper which features a pretty repetitive bee design. I then matted this on black Bazzil cardstock. I mounted the square panel on a piece of Emerald City Bazzill cardstock and added white faux stitching around the square panel.

A technique I enjoy using on my layouts is to print two of the same photograph one one piece of photo paper using my selphy, I like being able to stagger the two photos and add areas of interest around them.
I used this technique on this layout, using a photo of my Son playing football on his birthday as the colours and sentiment suited well.

I matted my photos on black cardstock to echo the black matting on the quare panel, and I have tucked several stickers behind the photos to create interest around the area of the photos and to focus the eye.

I used one of the stickers from the Element Stickers sheet to create a title- Bee Happy, and I added several bees and flowers which I fussy cut from the Bees and Flowers paper, tucking them in around the photographs and around the title. Some white acrylic splatters finish the layout off.

I hope you have enjoyed the layouts I have created using this lovely collection, I have certainly enjoyed using it!

Carta Bella Honeybee | Precious Moments | Rebecca Bee

Hello everyone! Rebecca Bee here. The weeks are whizzing by and I can't believe it's my turn again to share what I have been up to! The minute I saw the Carta Bella Honey Bee collection I knew it was for me, its SO GORGEOUS! I absolutely love it!

The limited colour palette, the slightly vintage feel, the bee theme...its so beautiful and perfect to scrap a variety of photo themes. I absolutely adore any kind of ledger paper, so I was really attracted (like honey to the bee!) to the Bee Kind Layout paper. I used a craft knife to slice around the edge of the flowers so I could tuck my photos behind them. I them added some black ink splatters around the edge of where my photos would sit This helps bed the photos into the background paper and gives them somewhere to "sit".

I added some fussy cut honeycomb hexagons from the Honeycomb Clusters paper behind the photo and tucked some of the flower stickers from the Element Stickers sheet

I had some photos which were the perfect colour and theme for this collection- they were taken on a sunflower patch a couple of years ago. And you just know that we were intentionally wearing yellow and green because I knew I'd be scrapbooking these photos some day- you know how the mind of a scrapbooker works!

Finally I finished the layout off with a perspex piece and some stamping to form my title. I really adore this gorgeous collection and can't wait to use it again! Until next time! Rebecca Bee aka @scrap_paper_uk
