Celebrate! - After last year's restrictions, it was lovely to be able to eat out on my birthday this year. This layout is for my daughter's album, hence the journalling.

The top half of this layout is the White Bazzill, which I cut to measure 18cm x 30.5cm. I flicked Distress Oxide Inks over the cardstock, using Mustard Seed, Squeezed Lemonade and Peacock Feathers with a little Lucky Clover mixed in.

The bottom half of the layout is a 15cm x 30.5cm piece of Fresh Squeezed paper (butterfly side up), with the top edge rolled over, showing a little of the yellow gingham side.

Over the join in the papers I arranged one of the black doilies, and two funky wreaths from the Tim Holtz, Sizzix Thinlits set. The wreaths were cut from Kachina Bazzill. Then I added both my photos, side by side, with the doily and wreaths showing above and at both sides.

I glued the two acrylic butterflies in place top right of the page, and scattered the puffy heart stickers randomly over the cardstock. I also added Nuvo Crystal Drops to give extra dimension to the wreaths. I used Dandelion Yellow, Simply White Gloss and Ebony Black Gloss.

I wrote my journalling on some 1cm strips of white cardstock, cut it into short lengths and placed them under the left photo.

My title was made with some glittery white foam letter stickers and some Doodlebug Designs rub-on alphas in Lily White, both from my stash.

Limone - On holiday at Lake Garda we took a trip to Limone, where we say these wonderful lemons for sale in the market. The journalling about our day and Limone is hidden under the photo pocket - with a little pull tab.

I started this layout with the black chicken wire side of the Simple Things paper as a base.

I mounted my photos onto a piece of black paper from my stash. This was then mounted onto a piece of the
Fresh Squeezed paper - yellow gingham side up. It was glued to the background paper, with adhesive on just three sides, leaving the left side free to accommodate the journalling.

I typed and printed my journalling to fit inside the pocket and mounted this on more black paper, creating a tab on the left to allow me to pull the story out from under the photos. I added the word 'PULL' to the tab using the Glitz Teeny Alpha stickers from the kit.

Next - I embellished the page by fussy cutting images from the

3x4 Elements paper and butterflies from the scraps of Freshly Squeezed paper. Some of the images were raised with 3D foam pads and others were glued to the page.

I created some flowers with the Small Tattered Florals, Tim Holtz, Sizzix Thinlits die set and some white paper for the petals and Patch Bazzill for the leaves. I added Kaisercraft Pearls to the centres flower.

My main title - 'Limone' was cut from Sunbeam Bazzill and Sizzix Alphanumeric Varsity Thinlits die set. The date and place details were created with more of the Glitz Teeny Alpha Stickers.

Further embellishments include some shiny yellow flower sequins and
Simply White Gloss Nuvo Crystal Drops. I also used a little black and white washi tape from my stash.

That's all for today, more planned with this kit to follow.

Thanks for looking
Lynn x
