I discovered Scrapbooking, after a friend gave my girls a kit for Christmas..and I had to sit on my hands to stop myself "helping". Scrapbooking really appealed to me in a big way and it wasn't long before my friend and I signed up for our 1st crop with Vanessa! That was Feb 2006..and as so many people say, I haven't looked back since!
Having worked as an Occupational Therapist for the NHS for 20 years, I decided enough was enough, and was over the moon when I started work at Papermaze in Dec 2006. I work 3 days a week, and love it! It can be so busy at times, and there doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day, but I wouldn't change it for the world! The thing I love about working here ( amongst other things!) is that nothing stands still for long, as soon as you get to know what everything is called and where to find it, more boxes arrive and you start all over again!
This line of paper and card was chosen by Ang. She chose the line Sunshine Lollipop by Sassafras Lass.
Here is the sketch...
Ang decided to turn the sketch on its side for her page...
Here is Ang's take on the sketch
So I took the Sketch and rotated left. I added a circle as I wanted a central focus as the papers and photo are quite busy.
Used materials provided, just added AC Apha's
So when i sat down to make the page to go with the sketch, the first thing i did was rotate the sketch to the left. I added a circle to the sketch as i wanted to make a central focus for all the papers and the photos as they are quite busy.
I used some American Crafts thickers for the title for this page.
Here is my take on the sketch...
I was determined to do something out of the box with this one, and try and do something different. As i normally use several small photos, i changed the 4 photos to one big one, something i never do.
I kept the border line of pattern paper down the left handside, but i change where the title and the journaling went.

What wonderful pages, really bright and funky. Love the versatility of the sketches and that you turned them round. Looking forwards to tomorrow :)
