Travel Junque Photoplay - Time to Explore

Hi everyone, Rebecca Bee aka scrap_paper_uk here with another layout using the Travel Junque collection! This time I wanted to create a noticeboard style layout that highlighted some of the details in the cut-apart patterned papers- I feel they cry out to be layered!

I created a frame for the background by gutting a piece of Bazzil cardstock in the shade Touch of Pink and adding some foam pads for dimension. I also doodled a thin white border on the frame using a white journaling pen just to add a hint of definition to the frame. I've added a strip of map paper from the Explore paper, adding a notebook punch detail along one side.

There are so many lovely little details in the papers that look beautiful when fussy cut and layered together. For the details in this layout I have mainly used fussy cut pieces form the Roam and Post Card papers. To create a title, I have fussy cut phrases from the Roam paper.
To add a little bit of texture on the background, I have doodled some crosshatching details on the background cardstock using a white journaling pen, and then layered my photographs on top.
Finally I have threaded some twine through one of the tags from the Explore paper to add to the noticeboard effect. This style of layout looks great with multiple photographs, so I have again documented several photographs from an incredible trip to Scotland. Have you checked out this lovely collection for your UK holidays? The colours and images are perfect!
