Pinkfresh Studio ~ Paige Evans Crafted Moments

Hi everyone, it’s Anna back with you today and I’m sharing my first layout using Crafted Moments by Paige Evans and Pinkfresh Studios.

You can find the collection in the shop here.
But for your reference I will be using the following -

I used ‘Worth Remembering’ from the 12x12 Paper Pack, which caught my eye immediately. I saw a layout that Paige had created for iNSD using the same paper and she had hand stitched the flowers, so I decided to create my own layout inspired by her version.

I began by mounting my photographs using the b side of ‘Dream in Colour’ from the 12x12 paper pad and positioning them on the layout where I wanted them to go. I could then work out where I was going to need to stitch and made the stitch holes. I hand stitched around the purple flowers and dark green leaves using coordinating thread.

I then adhered my photos into position and began adding some embellishment to the layout. I extended the purple florals, by adding some additional flowers from the floral ephemera. I tucked them around the photos and also added one of the butterflies from the pack too.

I added some stickers from the cardstock stickers and a small title above one of the photos using the Mini Puffy Alpha Stickers.

Thanks so much for looking, I'll see you soon with another layout using this collection.

Simple Stories ~ Say Cheese Happiest Place #2 🏰

Hi everyone, it’s Anna back again and today I’m sharing my second layout using Simple Stories Say Cheese Happiest Place, which you can find in the shop here

For my second layout I wanted to create a ‘Then and Now’ page. I had some photos that I’d printed from a childhood visit to Walt Disney World and I wanted to create a layout with them alongside some pictures from a more recent visit. I tried to use photos that were of the same thing/place.
I began with ‘Meeting the Mouse’ as my base.

I had a large & sign that I thought would work well in the centre. I then mounted my pictures on to ‘Having a Blast’ and fitted them around the & on the page.

There were already some florals printed on the patterned paper, so I added to the florals that were already there to create a cascade of flowers across the page. I did this by fussy cutting lots of the flowers from ‘Happy Memories’ and arranging them in clusters.

I added a title using some Doodlebug Alpha Stickers with the wording ‘Then +Now’ above and below the ampersand.

To finish my layout, I added some enamel dots and some Nuvo drops to the centres of the flowers.

Thanks for looking!
See you in May!

Echo Park ~ Christmas Express #2

Hello everyone and Happy Christmas! Hope you’ve all been enjoying the festive period and making memories to document!
I’ve been enjoying some crafty time in amongst all the Christmas fun. So I went back to using Echo Park Christmas Express to create another page.

I began with a sheet of white bazzill as my base. I then created a star template in various sizes on my silhouette cameo. I used the template to draw around North Pole Plaid and then a slightly smaller star from Holly Jolly Stockings, so that I could layer them on top of each other. I then cut out some smaller stars from the b side of Red Snowflakes

After distressing the edges, I adhered my large stars off centre to the left and trimmed off the excess. I then layered my photo on to some red coordinating bazzill cardstock and Red Snowflakes

I placed my mounted photo in the centre of the star and alongside it I added a 3x4 journal card

I added the smaller stars randomly around the rest of the layout and also added in a few Element stickers

I used some stars, snowflakes and sentiments from the Vicki Boutin Peppermint Kisses, Ho Ho Ho Phrase Thickers

Thanks so much for looking!
I’ll see you again in January when I’ll be working with Simple Stories Take Note.

Happy New Year!

Flannel Season | Rebecca Bee | Simple Stories Simple Vintage Flannel Season

Brrr...it's set to get chilly this week! With the colder weather in mind, what could be more cosy than documenting some winter weather photographs with the gorgeous Simple Vintage Flannel Season collection from Simple Stories!

I love the fact that this collection celebrates the winter season without touching on Christmas so is perfect for those that don't celebrate, yet the colours still feel rich cosy and wintery. I especially love this plaid patterned Stayin' Cosy patterned paper.

For my layout I have cut two squares out of the background to give the eye somewhere to rest. I added some sewing around these cut-out apertures to add a little interest and texture around the cut outs.

I have added a title using stickers from the Element Stickers Sheet. I matted the 'flannel season' title stickers on some Rainforest textured Bazzil cardstock to ensure it stays visible against the busy background.

I have used my favourite technique of printing two photos from one piece of photo paper. I enjoy this method of printing photos as it allows me to tell more of the story by adding more photos to a layout without overcrowding my layout with too many things to look at- also the photo sizes are big enough to still see the details within the photographs so this works well for me.

If you enjoy scrapping through the seasons, check out this lovely collection!
 Until next time,
Rebecca Bee
XOXO

Paige Evans - Happy Haven #2

Hi everyone, it’s Anna back with you today and I’m sharing my second layout using Paige Evans Happy Haven. You can find the collection in the shop here

I wanted to make use of the lovely patterned boarders on paper #2, so I decided to cut out the inner section, just leaving the scalloped edge boarder. I filled the gap with some white bazzill cardstock.

I had three photos I wanted to include on this layout, I also added in a jounaling card from paper #12.

I mounted my photos on to Paper #3.

I fussy cut some florals from paper #1 and tucked them behind my photos.

I then added some cardstock stickers around the layout including ‘best day’ under my largest photo.

Finally I added my title using Doodlebug Alpha stickers and a word and arrows from Vicki Boutin Where to Next, travel notes phrase stickers.

Thanks so much for looking!
See you next month when I’ll be working with Doodlebug design Butterfly Kisses

Paige Evans ~ Happy Haven #1

Hi everyone, it’s Anna here. This month I’m working with Paige Evan’s latest and final collection with American Crafts - Happy Haven. You can find most of the collection in the shop here

For this layout I knew I wanted to use lots of folded paper windmills to document a trip to a windmill in Holland. I also knew I wanted to keep some of the florals on paper #1 while still using the b side as my base. So I gutted a section out of the middle and then trimmed some white cardstock to go in the centre.

I made some folded paper windmills using a variety of 5cm and 6cm squares. I used paper #3 and paper #7 to make the windmills and I trimmed some coordinating bazzill cardstock for the ‘stem’. I added an enamel dot in the centre of each to secure and add extra detail.

I chose a journalling box from paper #12 and adhered it under my photo. Once these were in place, I began to arrange the windmills on the layout.

I cut out some of the florals from paper #1 and tucked them around the edge of the white cardstock.

Finally, I selected a few stickers from the cardstock stickers and placed them around my layout.

Thanks so much for looking! See you later in the month with another layout using this collection.

Simple Stories ~ For the Record 🗒️ #1

Hello everyone - it’s Anna back with you today.
I am working with Simple Stories For the Record for my blog posts this month. You can find the whole collection in the shop here.

I love to create an end of year page for my albums each year to highlight some of the memorable moments of the year. So this is my version for the end of 2024…

I used an app on my phone to create a collage of photos, I did one collage for each month of the year. I then printed these out and adhered in month order on to ‘Keep Looking Up’.

I used various patterned papers and some coordinating cardstock from the matchmaker pack to back a cutfile by Paige Evans. I then adhered this to the top left of my layout.

In the top right corner I used Bella Blvd Luna Alpha stickers to add the year and then I clustered some cardstock stickers around it.

I added the monthly tab stickers from the ‘Monthly Cardstock Stickers’ to each photo, just tucking them in.
I added a cluster of cardstock stickers in the bottom right corner and that was my layout complete!

Thanks so much for looking! See you later on in the month with a second layout using this collection.

Simple Stories ~ Say Cheese Classic Mouse #2 🐭

Hello! It’s Anna back again sharing my second layout this month using Simple Stories Say Cheese Classic Mouse. You can find this collection in the shop here

I used a Mickey head cutfile as a background on top of my white bazzill cardstock base.

I mounted my two 3x4 photos with the b side of the 4x6 elements paper and then chose a couple of pieces from the journal bits and pieces pack. I layered all of these together across the centre of the page.

I then chose a couple of tags from the tag elements paper and layered them underneath my two photos. I punched a hole in the top and added some thread.

I added some stickers from the cardstock stickers around my layout.

I used a star punch to add some little stars to my layout from black cardstock.

Finally, I added my title, I used three different colours of Doodlebug Alphabet Soup.

Thanks so much for looking!

See you next month.
