A i mentioned yesterday i spend a lot of time just surfing the internet looking for things and a little while ago i came across this picture of rolls of fabric.
I loved the patterns and the colours of this page and just had to use them. And when i was wondering round Papermaze the other day i came across a line of pattern paper that matched perfectly. The Scenic Route line Providence was absolutely perfect as it had the same bright colours and flowers.

First off i decided to do a mini album /frame. But as i wanted it in a certain style i decided to make it myself.
I cut out 3 rectangles from a cornflakes box as the base for this.
I then covered the front and back in white card to stop any of the cornflake package coming through.

To get it to stay together i put a strip of pattern paper along the back which helps it hold its shape.

As i didnt have just the right letters for the word 'stone' in my ever growing letter stash i decided to make my own.
First i got out a very old pack of chipboard, which i knew i was never going to use as i didnt like the pattern anymore.
To get the text effect i used a newsletter from my sons school and adhered the chipboard letters to it. I cut it out with a craft knife and finished of the letters edges with a Basic Grey precision file. TO get the faded effect i used the big file out of the packet and just very carefully rubbed the top of the letter with it and if you do it gently it looks all faded.
