Simple Stories ~ Say Cheese at the Park #4 🐭

Hi it’s Anna back with you today!
I have another layout to share with you using Simple Stories Say cheese at the Park - I have had a whale of a time with this collection, it’s been perfect for documenting magical Disney memories.
You can find all of the collections as part of this release in the shop here..

For this layout, I have used the Say Cheese at the Park part of the release and in particular the ‘Tags’ paper.

I began with a 12x12 piece of white bazzill cardstock. I then selected 8 tags that I wanted to use.
I decided that something was needed on the background, so I added some Distress Ink in the shade of Fossilised Amber. I then used a stencil to apply some more Distress Ink in the shade of faded jeans.

I arranged the tags on my layout and added my photos to some of them, mounting them with cardstock first.

I used stickers from the Combo Stickers and Sticker Book to embellish the tags.

I added a few finishing touches, by randomly adding some Nuvo Drops.

I used the alpha stickers from the sticker book for my title.

I finished the layout off by adding some twine, tying it between each of top and bottom tags.

Thank you so much for looking!
See you again soon.

Simple Stories ~ Say Cheese at the Park #3 ✨

Hi all,
It’s Anna back with you today and I’m continuing working with the wonderful collections by Simple Stories - Say Cheese at the Park. For todays layout, I have focused on using the Say Cheese Fantasy at the Park collection.
But you can find all five parts of the release in the shop as follows:

To create this layout, I gutted a white sheet of cardstock and then used it to create a thin boarder. I mounted the b side of Once Upon a Time to the cardstock.
I then trimmed a strip of the b side of ‘Elements 2’ and adhered it vertically to the page, just off centre. I used a boarder punch to create two scalloped strips of cardstock either side.

I chose a larger photograph to use on this layout, it’s in the size 8x6.
I selected one of the element cards from ‘Elements 2’and adhered it to the left of my photo.

I then began to add two clusters of embellishments, I like to balance embellishments on my layouts. I often go with an approach of two opposite clusters… and that’s what I’ve done with this layout.

To create my clusters of embellishments, I have used a selection of stickers from the Combo Stickers and from the Sticker Book, which has lovely small stickers and alpha stickers from all of the collections together in one book.

Lastly, I added some Pinkfresh Jewel Essentials in the shade Peach Fuzz, which I dotted around randomly. I also added a few drops of Nuvo drops around the edge of my photograph.

I’ll be back again soon with another Disney layout for you!
See you then!
 😊
Thanks for looking.

Simple Stories ~ Say Cheese at the Park #2 ☁️ 🌎

Hey all, it’s Anna back on the blog today.
I’m sharing my second layout using Simple Stories Say Cheese at the Park, which you can find in the shop here.

For this layout, I have focused on the Fantasy at the Park part of the release, which is perfectly themed to the ‘fantasyland’ lands of the Disney theme parks.
So what better photos to scrapbook than those of ‘It’s a Small World’…

Unusually for me, I haven’t used a white background and have instead opted for a sheet of coordinating coloured cardstock to showcase my white ‘it’s a small world’ cutfile by Paige Evans.
As soon as I saw Paige Evans’ layout using this cutfile last year, I knew it was one I just had to create with! And with this collection comes the perfect patterned paper to use to back it - Make A Wish.

I backed each section of the cutfile with the shapes in the paper Make a Wish, along with a few pieces of coordinating cardstock, which you could find in the matchmaker pack.

I added my photos in square format above the cutfile and added a small title using LDRS Small Puffy Alpha Stickers.

I used my cutting machine again to cut out some small clouds, which are by Peartree Cutfiles and adhered them to the top left and right of my layout.

I added a few elements from the combo sticker sheet, including the smiling clock face sticker in the centre of the cutfile and a few of the word and floral stickers.

Thanks so much looking!
I am going to continue working with this collection next month, so I’ll have more to show you then!

See you soon!

Simple Stories ~ Say Cheese at the Park

Hi all, it’s Anna back with you today and for my next few posts I’m going to be working with the a-ma-zing(!) new Disney themed collections by Simple Stories.

There are five parts to this release, a generic ‘Disneyland/Theme park’ range, with lots of lovely bright colours and relevant theming. The remaining four collections are themed to each of the four main lands at the Disney parks. For all of you Disney fans out there, these collections are so exciting, they are so different and more specific than anything we’ve seen before!

You can find the collection of Disney dreams in the shop following the links below…

Say Cheese at the Park

Say Cheese Tomorrow at the Park

Say Cheese Frontier at the Park

Say Cheese Fantasy at the Park

Say Cheese Adventure at the Park

Here is my first layout…

To create this page, I have used a mixture of products from the collections within this release. For my background I have used the b side of ‘gangs all here’

I chose to use a cutfile by Paige Evans ‘My happy place’ which sums up my photo perfectly! I backed the large title with just one of the patterned papers - the b side of ‘Zoom! Zoom!’

I mounted my photo onto one of the 4x6 elements pieces.

I then began to embellish my layout using a variety of stickers from the Say Cheese at the Park Combo Stickers, Say Cheese at the Park Sticker Book and Say Cheese Fantasy at the Park Combo Stickers.

Thank you so much for looking! I’ll be back soon with another layout to share.
See you then,
Anna
