Simple Stories ~ Take Note #2 🗒️

Hello everyone, it’s Anna back with you today after a short break due to some technical issues! 

I’m now able to share my second layout using Simple Stories Take Note - which you can find in the shop here. 

To create this layout I’ve used a cutfile by Peartree Cutfiles which is a repetitive 2026 circle. I cut the cutfile out of white bazzill cardstock and then backed the stars with pieces of yellow patterned paper from ‘Focus on the Day’ before adhering it on to some navy bazzill cardstock. I also kept the off cut from my cutfile, which made a great border. 

I backed the circle in the middle of my cutfile with the b side of the ‘4x6 elements’ and then cut out another circle to layer on top using the b side of ‘get it done’. 

I then mounted my photo on to the a side of ‘get it done’ and adhered it off centre. 

I picked out a selection of flowers from the floral bits and pieces and tucked them above and under my photograph. 

I used the element stickers to create clusters of embellishments around my photo. 

Finally, I added some more floral bits to the edge of my border on the top right and bottom left, by just cutting them in half and tucking them in.

Simple Stories ~ Take Note 🖊️ #1

Happy New Year everyone! It’s great to see you here again in 2026! 

This month I’m working with Simple Stories - Take Note, which you can find in the shop here. 

I always find this style of collection great for reflecting on the past year and I like to create a ‘review the year’ style page to go at the end of my yearly scrapbook album. 

To create this layout I started with the b side of ‘Happy Days Ahead’ as my base. 

I had downloaded a cutfile titled ‘2025 documented’ with 12 Polaroid frames, so I cut this out on white bazzill cardstock. 

I created collage pictures on my phone, with 4 pictures from each month of 2025 and printed them out to fit inside each of the frames.

I backed ‘2025’ with sections from the b side of ‘Focus on the Day’ and adhered the cutfile and the photos to my page. 

I had some old month stickers from Simple Stories which I used to place on each of the frames. 

Finally, I finished my layout by adding some floral bits and pieces as well as some stickers from the element stickers. 

I tucked some of the florals around the frames and created clusters on opposite sides of the page.

Simple Stories ~ For the Record #2 💛

Hi everyone, it’s Anna back with you today. 

I’m here to share my second layout I’ve created using Simple Stories For the Record. 

You can find the collection in the shop - here. 

For my second layout I am creating a title page for my 2025 album. I like to use a photo from around the start of the year and create a page to have at the front of my album. There are lots of yearly themed cutfiles which will help you document this, alternatively you could create your own large title with alpha stickers. 

I used the b side of ‘Don’t forget this’ as my base. I then tore two pieces of ‘It’s all good’ and adhered a piece to each side of my layout. 

I used a cutfile ‘Happy New Year 2025’ by Paige Evans. I backed all of the letters using ‘the best part’ and ‘Just the Details’ as well as some coordinating cardstock. 

I adhered it to the centre of the page and mounted my photo in coordinating cardstock. 

I added cardstock stickers in three clusters to balance the layout.

Simple Stories ~ Say Cheese Magic #2 ✨

Hi all, it’s Anna back with you on this sunny Monday! Hope you’re all having a great summer. 

I have one final layout to share using Say Cheese Magic by Simple Stories. 

You can find the collection in the shop here. 

To create this layout, I began with a sheet of white bazzill cardstock, I then wanted to use ‘See Ya Soon!’, but I also had a cutfile that I wanted to use. So I was aiming to cover up the wording on the paper, but still showing some of the clouds and flags. 

So I trimmed the paper down leaving a gap of white in the middle and moving the bottom part of paper to the top.

I backed the ‘magic moments’ cutfile using coordinating cardstock from the collection and adhered the cutfile to the top of my page. 

I added a boarder strip from the cardstock stickers and on the bottom half of my page I added my photos, each backed with a boarder of coordinating cardstock. 

I finished my layout by adding a final few cardstock stickers in small clusters around my photographs.

Simple Stories ~ Say Cheese at the Park #2 ☁️ 🌎

Hey all, it’s Anna back on the blog today. 

I’m sharing my second layout using Simple Stories Say Cheese at the Park, which you can find in the shop here. 

For this layout, I have focused on the Fantasy at the Park part of the release, which is perfectly themed to the ‘fantasyland’ lands of the Disney theme parks. 

So what better photos to scrapbook than those of ‘It’s a Small World’…

Unusually for me, I haven’t used a white background and have instead opted for a sheet of coordinating coloured cardstock to showcase my white ‘it’s a small world’ cutfile by Paige Evans. 

As soon as I saw Paige Evans’ layout using this cutfile last year, I knew it was one I just had to create with! And with this collection comes the perfect patterned paper to use to back it - Make A Wish. 

I backed each section of the cutfile with the shapes in the paper Make a Wish, along with a few pieces of coordinating cardstock, which you could find in the matchmaker pack.

I added my photos in square format above the cutfile and added a small title using LDRS Small Puffy Alpha Stickers.

I used my cutting machine again to cut out some small clouds, which are by Peartree Cutfiles and adhered them to the top left and right of my layout. 

I added a few elements from the combo sticker sheet, including the smiling clock face sticker in the centre of the cutfile and a few of the word and floral stickers.

Echo Park ~ My favourite Easter #2

Hi all, it’s Anna back on the blog today. I’m still working with Echo Park’s My favourite Easter and I have another scrapbook layout to share with you today. 

You can find this collection in the shop here.

For this layout, I used the b side of the ‘sunny floral’ paper as my base. I then cut a honeycomb cutfile by Paige Evans, I’ve used this one before, I find it really versatile and super easy to back too!

I selected a few of the patterned papers from the collection to back the cutfile.

I selected a 6x4 photo and mounted it onto a piece of patterned paper.

I then fussy cut some floral clusters from the Easter Bouquet paper and tucked them around my photograph. 

I also cut out a few pieces from the cut apart paper - multi journaling cards - adhering them around my photo too, adding some with 3D foam pads. I also selected some chipboard accent pieces.

I added a bow from my stash to the cut apart tag and that was me done!
