Echo Park ~ Fall #2

Hello all and welcome back to the Papermaze blog!

It’s Anna back today sharing my second layout using Echo Park’s Fall collection. This collection has been perfect for scrapping my autumn/pumpkin patch photos. Take a look it it in the shop here

Last time I shared a double page layout with you, using several photos. Today I’m doing the complete opposite and I have scrapbooked one large 12x12 photo!

I began with the b side of leaf pile as my background. I trimmed down a large 12x12 photo by roughly 1cm each side to allow a boarder for the photograph.

I then used various element stickers to embellish the layout. I added a boarder sticker to the right hand side and then layered on top of it, forming a cluster on that side of the layout.

When using a 12x12 print, make sure to use a picture that allows for a bit of space to add your embellishments.

As well as using various stickers from the elements stickers, I also added a foam ‘hello’ word sticker from this sheet by Simple Stories, some pink paislee sequins and florals from the embossed puffy stickers by Jen Hadfield.

I added a freckled fawn arrow paper clip to the bottom left hand side along with some Bella Blvd alpha stickers

It’s quite a simple layout, allowing the larger photo to be showcased. With some finishing touches to add texture and interest.
Why not give a 12x12 photo layout a try?

Thanks so much for looking!
See you again soon!

Photoplay - We can just stay home #3

Hi :) It's Anna back today to share my third and final layout with the Photoplay - We can just stay home collection.
You can see my first post here and my second here using this collection as well as other elements from my DT Kit.

The story behind this page is that it was our first visit somewhere after lockdown restrictions had began to ease, a trip to the seaside, with plenty of space to socially distance. It was so nice to do something normal.
For this layout, I wanted to use this Jillibean soup placemat, I don't have a cutting machine (just yet!) so this was the closest thing to a cut file in my stash!
It was a time consuming task, but I really enjoyed it, I don't think the photos quite do it justice, but I was really pleased with the effect. I selected various scraps of papers from the collection, along with some cardstock scraps and some glittered paper to back each of the sections.

I then chose a cut apart card from the 'family fun' paper and mounted it alongside my photo onto the reverse side of the Don't Hurry patterned paper. I added in a small strip of the reverse of the PJ's All Day paper, so I could use a foam word sticker from the Simple Stories Summer Farmhouse foam stickers which was yellow and wouldn't have worked otherwise.

Finally, I added a few finishing touches using some of the foam stickers from the Simple Stories Summer Farmhouse foam stickers, Pebbles Puffy dots and Simple Stories Dive into Summer Element Stickers to add a few beach details.

I made a little journaling tag from a luggage tag, adding a sticker from the Simple Stories Dive into Summer Element Stickers, some twine and another heart sticker from the Summer farmhouse foam stickers. I added some wording 'stay' to the sticker to make it appropriate for this layout. On the reverse of the tag, I added some journaling. I haven't stuck it down, just tucked in.

Thanks for looking!
See you soon for another month with a brand new collection!

Using other elements of my DT Kit with Photoplay's we can just stay home collection #2

Hi all, it's Anna back with you today to share my next layout using Photoplay's We can just stay home collection as well as some of the other elements in my DT kit, which I just had to do something with. The inspiration for this layout started with these Pinkfresh Studio My Favourite Story - Cardstock tags, which I then teamed with some Kraft tags.

I used a sheet of 12x12 bazzill cardstock for my base and arranged the tags, threading through some twine. I mounted my photographs onto the kraft tags, which I had layered first with the blue side of the 'PJ's all day' pattered paper and doilies.

I fussy cut out the clouds from the 'Stick Together' patterned paper and did my journaling on one of them. For my title, I used these Pinkfresh Studio Noteworthy - Mini Puffy Alpha Stickers.

I felt like it needed more, so I decided to add strips of punched scalloped cardstock to the top and bottom of the layout and I used some florals, leaves and butterfly die cuts to embellish the sides. I finished the florals off with Pebbles Puffy dots as well as Nuvo Drops and some scattered sequins.

Thanks for looking!
I'll be back soon with my final layout using up scraps from the Photoplay - We can just stay home collection. See you then!
