Tuesday's card...

All this week on the Papermaze blog we are having a card sketch week. Everyday there is going to be a new sketch and a new example.

What do you have to do??? well all the people that post a comment on anyone of the posts this week will be put into a hat and i will draw one name out. The person whose name comes out will get written step by step instructions and the supplies to make each card that is shown here this week.

On Saturday there will be posted a competition with a cool prize. We hope you enjoy the sketches and the cards.

okay the second sketch is a really easy one to interpret ...

Okay first cut out the blue card to the size - 12cm by 12 cm, distress the edges and then ink with brown ink. Do not adhere to the actual card yet.

Next cut up 9 squares, distress the edges and then ink the edges with brown ink.

Arrange on the card as shown in the photograph below.

Next cut out a heart shape on brown card. Distress the edges and ink again with brown ink. Draw faux stitching around the outside. Adhere to the card.

Then using 2 different ribbons attach across the card. And cut of the edges or adhere them to the back of the card.

I then used a see through letter. Drew white round the edge. Then using a thin ribbon tie round one part of the letter. I then used a pin, added some beads and thread it through the ribbon.

Adhere onto the card.

And then add some gems..

here is the finished card.

Edited to add*

products used -
Heidi swapp plastic letters
Bo bunny paper
If you use the sketch send it to us so we can see how you made it and it can be put in the readers gallery.

see you 2m for another sketch and another card. xxx

Love the card with its distressed look. Especially like the see through letter. Where on the website can you buy those?
