'Hi' Card

A couple of weeks ago Wendy asked me if I wanted to guest designer on your blog. Of course I was honoured and said yes. During the next four days I'll give a little insight of the things I create and how I create them.

For those who that don't know me, my name is Lisette, I'm Dutch married to a Brit with three children. I was born and raised in Holland. Since 1999, we as an extending family have lived in Portland (Oregon, USA) , Melbourne (Australia) and Epsom in Surrey. We just recently moved back from Australia at the end of June.

When Wendy sent me my box, I'd asked her for some 'Ambrosia' papers from Basic Grey and 'Prudence' papers from Crate Paper. I had neither of these in my stack and thought they would be versatile to create both female and male cards. At the moment I'm mostly creating cards, as the move has put a halt to my LOs, but I've created a LO for this occasion, which I'll post on Friday. Tomorrow I'll show a card along 2 Sketches 4 You sketch by Kazan and Thursday I'll post a male card. Today I'll start with a female card:

And the card:

Supplies: cardstock - Bazzill Basics, PPs - Ambrosia Basic Grey, alphabet stickers - Thickers by American Crafts, grungeboard - Tim Holtz, bling - Crystal Stickers, paint (from own stash) - Making Memories.

I hope you enjoyed my sketch and card, I'll be back with another one tomorrow.
