I’ve had so many ideas for this collection I just had to continue creating with it. You can find it all in the shop here.
For this layout, I have focused on Paper 9. All of those leaves were just crying out to be fussy cut! I decided to do some hand stitching on them to create my own background.
So I began with a 12x12 sheet of cream bazzill cardstock. I then cut out pretty much all of the leaves that I could from Paper 9. I arranged them on my page how I wanted them and stuck them down just in the centre to begin with. I then spent many evenings(!) hand stitching on top of, or around lots of the leaves. I did leave some of them as they were though.
I then mounted my photograph on to the b side of Paper 4 and some black cardstock too. I raised this onto foam pads, so it sat better on top of my stitched background.
I mounted the foam word ‘hello’ from the home sweet home phrase stickers onto the b side of Paper 11. As it needed something behind it to help it stand out. I also mounted this on to foam pads.
I cut out the ‘falling in love’ leaf from Paper 23 and adhered it beside my photo.
I then began to add the final embellishments around my photo and to do this I used some of the home sweet home phrase thickers and the embossed puffy stickers from the new Jen Hadfield Peaceful heart collection.
Thanks so much for looking! Enjoy the rest of your weekends.
See you again soon.
Anna
