Bazzill Basics Cardstock - Bazzill White, Piglet (supplied in kit), Jelly Fish, Parakeet, Fussy and Whirlpool (in extra Bazzill pack).

Back to Nature - I have admired this old door at the farm where the Papermaze shop is situated. I especially love the beautiful colours the wood and paint have become as they have aged and weathered. The photos were perfect for this 49 and Market paper.

I started with 49 & Market - Kaleidoscope - Treasured Teal paper, and after working out where my photos would sit, I used a craft knife to trim around the flowers and butterflies I wanted to bring to the front of the photos rather than hiding them underneath. The photos were stuck into place then the flowers were raised with some small 3D foam pads.

I arranged three postcards (from the kit) so they pop out from behind the photo.

I found an image for ivy leaves on the Cricut and cut it several times with some scrap white cardstock. Then I coloured the leaves using Distress Inks (Crushed Olive, Forest Moss & Evergreen Bough). These were arranged around the layout, saving one for the title.

To make my title I found some old chipboard letters in my stash. I used Distress Paints and Crackle Medium, to create a distressed paint effect to match the door on the photos. The I cut some letters using dies and some wood print paper.

Majestic Birds - These beautiful peacocks lived in the grounds of the hotel we stayed in a few months ago, while travelling in the Lake District.

The background for this layout is the Tropical Floral paper. I cut a 7" circle from Whirlpool Bazzill, and placed it into the centre of the layout, I inked an area around the circle before sticking it down. I used Distress Inks in Peacock Feathers, Twisted Citron and Evergreen Bough.

I mounted all my photos for this layout onto some scrap white cardstock, and arranged them on the page, Before sticking them down I made and applied the feathers.

The feathers were cut from Paradise Found paper, using a Peartree Cutfile, they were inked with more Distress Inks. I applied some large gems in the eyes of the feathers.

My title was made with some old puffy letter stickers from my stash - Pinkfresh Studio - The Best Day. I finished off by handwriting my journalling.

That's all for today, I'll be back with the next two layouts soon.
Thanks for looking
Lynn x
