November Papermaze Kit - Part 2

Hello! - Lynn here today, with my second post using the pretty November Papermaze Kit. This month the kit includes florals, pastels and woodland themed papers. One of my layouts is a heritage page the other uses very recent photos.

Here are the details of what you will find in the kit:

Patterned Papers:
49 and Market - Birdsong collection - Sweet Notes & Songs of Hope
49 and Market - Vintage Orchard collection - Woodgrained
Simple Stories - Simple Vintage Meadow Flowers collection - Seeds of Kindness & Wild & Beautiful
Mintay - In My Craftroom collection - #05
The photo below shows both sides of the papers:

Embellishments:
Simple Stories Simply Vintage Meadow Flowers Foam Stickers and Bits & Pieces, Cocoa Vanilla Storyteller Wood Epoxy Button, Little Birdie Flower, Marianne rosebuds, Rosie's Studio Belleview Butterfly, chipboard frame and jute twine.

Bazzill Basics Cardstock:
Touch of Pink and Lily Pond (in kit) and Bark, Evening Surf, Crepe and Wild Pansy (in extra pack)

Happy First Father's Day - Florence and Mummy went to Greenwich Park to meet up with Daddy when he finished work on his first Father's Day.

For this layout I chose the 'Touch of Pink' Bazzill Basics cardstock from the kit. I planned to use the Mintay
'In My Craftroom' - #05 paper, so I matched the colours to pick out some Distress Inks for stencilling. I used Cracked Pistachio and worn Lipstick, with a Tim Holtz Layering stencil - THS097 Plaid. I stencilled onto the card so the design would show around the papers and photos.

With the #05 paper I cut round some of the printed fabric pieces to make a mat for all the photos together. With some DMC thread I blanket stitched around the papers. This was placed over the stencilling and the photos were arranged on top.

I cut several 12" x 1" strips of the paper, and with a scalloped border punch. I worked along the long edges. I placed a whole strip to each side of the layout. Then I cut some shorter pieces and tucked these randomly under the longer pieces.

I found some old chipboard letters, and painted them with Cracked Pistachio Distress Paint. Once this was dry, I sponged Worn Lipstick Distress Paint over the green. Once the letters were arranged on the layout, I added a layer of Glossy Accents to each letter.

From the kit, I added the Belleview Butterfly, Wood Epoxy Button, the Marianne rosebuds and the Little Birdie Flower.

From my stash I found a foam phrase sticker 'celebrate'.

I added the date using a set of Tim Holtz Sizzix Thinlits, Label and some of the left-over papers.

Mary Roberts Banks - A heritage layout using a photo I was given recently of one of my father's ancestors. I have added all the details I have discovered about Mary, to the back of the layout.

For this page I used the beautiful sheet of Songs of Hope from 49 and Market. I started by stamping some script over the page using Stampers Anonymous Entomology stamp set and Coffee Archival Ink

Then with the jute twine from the kit, I ran lengths across the middle of the layout, adhering it on each side at the back of the paper.

I built up the background with the remaining scrap of Woodgrained paper, and two filmstrips from the 49 and Market Krafty Garden Acetate Assortment. I also used a piece of lime green jute mesh from my stash.

A very fine photo mat was made with a scrap of #05 paper, then I mounted the photo onto the page using 3D foam tape, to help raise the photo over the twine.

I used a selection of images from a pack of 49 and Market Krafty Garden Laser Cut Outs, to embellish the page further.

I found a ticket left over from last month's kit, and cut it into two pieces. I attached one piece under the photo for the date and the other to the right of the photo.

My title was die cut from Bark Bazzill, and the Windsor Alphabet set from Tonic Studio.

Finally, I made my date using more Bazzill and the Sizzix Alphanumeric, Tiny Type set.

That's all for the November kit, I'll be back with the December Kit soon.
Thanks for looking.
Lynn x
