And finally IN STOCK IS THE BASIC GREY BASICS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
yep it is finally here and yep it lives up to expectation...I hunted through the boxes ( yep i didnt even wait for it to be put out on the shelf!!! lol) and grabbed nearly all of it!!! They are perfect for everything!!!!!

A few simple cards using Basic Grey Sugar Rush

I used bazzill dotted swiss card stock as my base and punched some circles from the Basic Grey Sugar Rush papers. I inked the edges of the punched circles and stuck the punched circles in a line to the dotted swiss card

I made an embellishment for my card using a raw chipboard flower, some prima daisey flowers and a heart shapped brad

I stuck some lace above the punched circles and then attached my flower embellishment above the lace

Here is my finished card

For this card I punched some squares from the Basic Grey Sugar Rush papers. I attached these to my base card and added a scallop edge rectangle underneath the squares.

I drew some fake stiching around the squares then glued some Green May Arts Leaves Ribbon over the paper squares

Then I added some flowers and bling for the flower centers

I added my greeting to finish the card

Dont forget to check out our colour challenge on the post below...there are some flowers, buttons and gems up for grabs

Saturday Sketches - Number one.

Every saturday ( more or less bar family emergencies or holidays) we are going to be having a sketch up here on the Papermaze blog. This is either going to be a page sketch, 12 by 12, double page or a card sketch..if you would like to see 8 1/2 by 11 ones let me know and i will add them in.

There is going to be a slide show down the righthand side of the blog with the sketches and their examples. If you wish to play along then add a link in the comments section and i can show them on here and add them to the slide show.

Here is todays sketch...

which was taken from Page Maps.

Here is my take on the sketch...

Instead of using squares i used circles...

I had several photos that went with the main one and the journaling and i wanted to add them, but they didnt fit in with the way i saw the sketch so i added them onto some card so they could be placed behind the main sketch and could be pulled up to see!

The papers i used in this were the new line from Girls Paperie, using mostly the Travel line..It took me half an hour of just sitting looking at these papers till i had the courage to cut them up....wait till you see them in person!

I asked some of the girls at the workshops to have a go at this one here is what they did...The first one is from Sarah...

this is from Anita...

and this one by Jacqui...

As i said before, if you want to play along add a link below in the comments section or email them to me at wendy@bbbweb.com and we can all see them.
