Carta Bella Paper ~ Greece ๐ŸŒŠ #2

Hello everyone - welcome back to the Papermaze blog! It’s Anna with you today sharing my second layout using Carta Bella Greece.

You can find the collection in the shop here!

Needless to say this collection is perfect for documenting your travels to Greece. But Carta Bella have other collections for different destinations too. Which you can find in the shop here.

However for this layout I’ve adapted the use of the collection slightly. Whilst the photos were taken in Greece, it isn’t immediately obvious and the focus is on the cruise ship that we were on. So I have used more of the elements from the collection that are less obviously Greek as well as combining a few pieces from an old Carta Bella cruise collection I had left over.

I began with a sheet of white bazzill cardstock and used a wave stencil and some distress ink to create a background. I used the dark blue ink directly over the stencil and I used the packaging technique in a lighter shade of blue to add some more interest.

I mounted my two photographs on to patterned paper from the collection and set them aside. Once my background had dried I added a vertical strip of the b side of 6x4 journaling cards to the left side of my background.

I positioned my photos in place and then added a small cardstock circle to document where our room was in the photo. I added an arrow sticker from my stash and some alpha stickers to give reason to this added detail.

I decided something was needed nice the top photo and with no suitable cardstock stickers left, I created my own sun using Bazzill cardstock - cutting a circle and some thin strips to create the rays.

I added a journalling card and some stickers to the bottom left of my large photo and that was my layout complete!

Thanks so much for looking!
See you later in the month with one final layout using this collection.
