Lynn here today, with another layout using the Graphic 45 BOOtiful Greetings collection. This time I have selected patterns suitable for autumn as opposed to Halloween. I love these three photos of my daughter and her daughter, among the falling leaves in Greenwich Park.
I started by gutting the Floral and Plaid sheet, creating a 1" border to frame my 11" x 11" piece of Walnut Cream Bazzill. I inked the edges of my cut papers with Black soot Distress Ink throughout this project.
I cut four strips of patterned paper 1.5" x 8" - one each from Pumpkins & Polkadots, Bewitching Layout, Floral and Plaid and Rusty Orange Pattern & Solid Sheet. I cut a strip of BOOtiful Borders 1" x 10" and trimmed my photos to 4.75" x 2.5". Then all of these pieces were mounted onto Blackberry Swirl Bazzill, cut 0.25" larger than the measurements given above.
The four strips of patterned paper were arranged vertically across the page, at slightly different heights. The longer strip was place horizontally across the layout about 2.5" up from the bottom. I arranged the three photos across the paper strips.
For the title I designed the lettering on the Cricut and cut it in both Blackberry Swirl and Tangelo Bazzill, then mounted them towards the top of the layout.
The date was created from two old sets of cardstock alphabet stickers from Doodlebug Designs - Teensy Type (Beetle black) and Double Takes (Hauntingly Halloween).
To embellish this layout I selected some images from the BOOtiful Greetings Ephemera Set, and a selection of gold and black gems.
That's all for today, I'll be back with more soon.
Thanks for looking
Lynn x
