Paige Evans ~ Blooming Wild #3 🌸

Hello and Happy International Scrapbook Day! I hope you get to enjoy some scrappy time this weekend.
It’s Anna here, I’m back to share one last layout with you using Paige Evans’ latest collection with American Crafts ~ Blooming Wild
You can find all of this beautiful collection in the shop here

I just had to have a go with using the large word ‘LOVE’ from Paper #17
I cut each letter out and adhered them at an angle on my pale pink cardstock.

I couldn’t decide whether to add the blanket stitching around each letter, so I didn’t, but I may just have to go back and add it it! That’s the beauty of crafting though isn’t it!? There is no right or wrong way of creating and you can always go back and add/change things if you want to!

I selected two small photos and mounted them using Paper #16.

I then tore a strip of paper from Paper #23 and placed it on the left side of my layout. I added a boarder sticker from the Cardstock Stickers as well to add a little more detail and interest to the page.

I fussy cut lots of florals from Paper #2 and layered them around my photos.

I then selected some stickers from the cardstock sticker pack and added a few extra details in clusters around my two photos.

I’ll be back later in the month where I’ll be working with Maggie Holmes’ latest collection with American Crafts ~ Woodland Grove
See you then!

Thanks for looking!

Paige Evans ~ Blooming Wild 🦋

Hello everyone, welcome back to the Papermaze blog.
It’s Anna back with you today, and I’m happy to be sharing my second layout using Paige Evans’ latest collection, Blooming Wild.
You can find this lovely collection in the shop here

To create this page I began with the ‘b’ side of Paper #5 as my base. I set my silhouette cameo to work to cut out a Paige Evans butterfly cutfile. I cut this out of white cardstock, but I added two shades of Distress Ink to achieve the shade of Green I wanted.

Once my delicate cutfile was safely stuck down, I selected my photos. I had some pictures from a butterfly garden in Walt Disney World, so I chose a few and trimmed them down to fit in some of the gaps around the cutfile.

I fussy cut lots of butterflies from Paper #16 and adhered them over some of the butterflies on my cutfile.

I added some of the cardstock stickers tucked in around my photos and cutfile.

I added a title using some Pinkfresh alpha stickers

I finished with adding a boarder sticker from the cardstock stickers to the left hand side of my layout.

Thanks so much for looking!

See you next month!

Paige Evans ~ Blooming Wild #1 🌼

Hi all, it’s Anna here. I’m working with the beautiful Blooming Wild collection by Paige Evans this month. You can find the whole collection in the shop here

For my first layout I have focused on using Paper #22, the ‘b’ side of this paper has a wonderful sunburst rainbow pattern, which I really wanted to use…so I grabbed one of my favourite selfies and began creating…

I started by choosing the colours of the sunburst that coordinated best with the colours on my photo. I knew that I definitely wanted to keep the pinks and the blues. I left out some of the colours that didn’t work so well and left those sections for my white bazzill cardstock to show.
I used my distressing tool to lightly distress the edges of each of the coloured sections.

I mounted my photo onto the ‘b’ side of paper #2 and adhered it in the centre of my layout. I then fussy cut several of the florals from the same paper and tucked them in around my photo, layering them in two clusters.

I then pulled out the cardstock stickers and selected butterflies, flowers and hearts to add around my clusters of florals.

I also found two small tags/journal spots from my stash to add the date and location of my photo.

Finally, I finished my layout by adding some Nuvo Drops along the edges of the starbursts, I used various colours of the glitter drops to do this.

Thanks for looking!
See you later in the month with another layout using this collection.
